Blodgett - Pierce Family --- Family Charts

These descendent charts display the relationship between family members. They start with our
earliest immigrant ancestors and work forward in time. There are separate charts for the Blodgett
and Pierce families. New charts will be added to provide a more complete picture of our family tree.

Early American Ancestors

These charts show the first eight generations of Blodgetts and Pierces in America.

Blodgett Early American Ancestors (1605 - 1922)

This chart shows the first seven generations of Blodgetts in America. It starts with
Thomas and shows his descendants following our ancestral line only. Brothers and sisters
of our ancestors are shown, but their descendants are not detailed.

Pierce Early American Ancestors (1632 - 1902)

This is the Pierce version of the previous Blodgett chart. The same generations are shown.
It is interesting to note that the same generation of both families emmigrated to America
(although the Pierce's arrived approximately 25 years later). These parallel experiences
continued, as both families were pioneer settlers of Chautauqua County in the 1820s.

Pioneer Settlers of Chautauqua County

These descendant charts show the Blodgetts and Pierces that first settled in Chautauqua Co.
and three generations of their descendants. This covers the period from 1800 though 1900.
These are the generations that established our family in this region and began the tradition
of family reunions that continues to this day.

Descendents of Willard Blodgett and Rebecca Gibbs

This chart shows the descendents of Willard and Rebecca Blodgett. Willard was one of the
three Blodgett siblings who were the first Blodgetts to settle in Chautauqua County. Willard
and Rebecca arrived in 1830 a few years after his brother Abram Stocking Blodgett.

Descendants of Abram Stocking Blodgett and Elizabeth Turk - Milo Blodgett's branch

This chart shows the descendants of Abram Stocking and Elizabeth's son , Milo Blodgett.
Abram Stocking and Elizabeth (Turk) Blodgett moved to Chautauqua County NY in 1829,
several years after his sister, Abigail and her husband (Elizabeth's brother) Jacob Turk Sr
had settled there. As Abram Stocking and Elizabeth had many children, his descendants
are shown in a series of charts. This is the first of those charts.

Descendants of Abram Stocking Blodgett and Elizabeth Turk - Aaron Burr Blodgett's branch

This chart shows the descendants of Abram Stocking and Elizabeth's son , Aaron Burr Blodgett.
Aaron Burr was the eldest son of Abram Stocking and Elizabeth (Turk) Blodgett. He and his wife,
Mary Ann Taylor, had three children, all of whom lived to marry and raise families of their own.

Common Ancestors Charts

These charts help to detail the connections between the various lines of our family
and trace some of these lines back to our earliest ancestors in colonial America.

Common Ancestor Relationship Chart

This chart shows the connections between the Blodgett and the Pierce families and the relationship
between the three lines of Blodgett descendants who regularly attend our reunions.

Ancestral Fan Chart - Boyd Blodgett

This chart shows ten generations of Blodgett and Pierce ancestors starting with Boyd Blodgett.
Because Boyd's father (Abram) and mother (Jesse - a Pierce) both had many siblings, these ancestors
are also the common ancestors of many of the family members who now attend our annual family reunions.
